Austin Wedding Photography | Katie + Steven

On Saturday I shot Katie and Steven's wedding at the Vista on Seward Hill. BEAUTIFUL Austin venue that I would highly recommend to people looking for an outdoor wedding venue. Anthony, the manager, did a great job DJing and coordinating the whole night. Katie & Steven were a very sweet couple who spent most of there reception making sure to talk to every single guest that attended, which I really admired. If I had to plan my wedding it would be a lot like this one.I added a couple of the photos from the rehearsal dinner at Bistro 88. My photojournalist skills played a big part in this wedding (as well as the 135mm F2.0 lens), I captured a lot of smiling faces and I liked it :)rehearsal dinner, guests laughing at bistro 88rehearsal dinner, guests toasting at bistro 88vista on seward hill ceremonybride laughing with mother at austin weddingfather walking bride down isle at vista on seward hill

I also need to give props to one of the best officiants I have ever met, Kim Session, of Weddings to go, she made the ceremony really personal to the Katie and Steven, and custom wrote vows for them based on them as a couple. Truly touching.

I knew this was going to happen eventually... but I didn't think it would happen so soon, at the very end of one of the speeches some interrupted, 'Kanye style', and announced that someone else had 'one of the best weddings of the year'...
