Playa del Carmen wedding | El Dorado Maroma Resort

There is something special about weddings on the beach. Maybe it's the cool, energetic breeze off the water, maybe its the beachside donkey carrying cold beer, maybe it's getting to work barefoot! :) In this case it was all three. I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Zainab and Jordan at the El Dorado Maroma Resort just north of Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. The resort is a small secluded, adults only, resort and Zainab and Jordan's guests made up the bulk of the guests staying there for the few days around the wedding. It definitely made for a very relaxed atmosphere having everyone around to hang out and get to know each other. By the time the wedding came around there were no strangers. It was a grand party of fun loving people, dancing long into the dark night on the white sands of a beautiful Yucatan beach. Even Caroline & Ben's clients, Sara & Cliff, who had their wedding in Santa Fe NM were getting crazy on the dance floor! Needless to say, we were in great company,
