St Mary’s & Woodbine Mansion Wedding in Austin

There is no doubt that COVID has thrown every normalcy we have out the window but I am eternally an optimist and I try hard to focus on all the good things that can come out of a strange and confusing year. Like Kelsey & Jack's halloween wedding at St Mary's Cathedral and the new Woodbine Mansion in Austin. I say Halloween very loosely as their initial plan wasn't to have a holiday themed wedding but the universe had other plans and they were pushed into a new wedding date. We couldn't have asked for a better date though because the weather gave us perfectly warm sunshine during the day and a gently cool evening to allow for all the dance moves with. Kelsey & Jack were humbly sweet and relaxed, simply excited to finally be able to experience their big day. The way they held each other, with or without my camera up and ready, showed their deep care for one another. Their family was as warm as they were, they immediately loosened up in front of me and my camera the minute I made my introduction. There was nothing but sweet things to say at their reception and it was clear everyone was excited to celebrate this union. Thank you Kelsey & Jack for having me photograph the beginning of your journey into marriage.Extra thanks to these amazing vendors for making the day so beautiful & fun, Austin Party Band, Pearl Events, Westbank Flower Market, Premiere Events, Whim Hospitality, pink champagne Designs, Adore Makeup, Filos Productions, Austin Catering, and Uptown Valet
