Mexico Wedding Photography

Mexico is one of my favorite countries in this world. The culture and views make it one of the best and most popular destination wedding locations for people from all around the world. The weather is amazing, often sunny, & occasionally hot with beautiful evenings. The Mexican Peso makes having a wedding their considerably affordable as well.

Playa del Carmen

- Located along the Yucatán strip in Riviera Maya it is known for its crystal blue water beaches. With many modern resorts, shops, & restaurants it is one of the more touristy spots in Mexico only slightly off of the path from Cancun.

Tulum

- Located about an hour and a half away from the Cancun airport, making it an easy drive. The resort town is home to many unobtrusive beach hotels that are regulated to keep the area not only ecologically friendly but unruined by modernization. The nearby Mayan ruins of Tulum make for the most popular tourist stop near by.

Puerto Vallarta

 - With a historic cobblestone city center, it is historically beautifully as well as naturally. It is one of the bigger cities on this list allowing it to have all the modern amenities of a big city as well.

San Miguel de Allende

- Located inland in Mexico's highlands, a few hours northwest of Mexico City with the nearest large airport being Leon. The temperature tends to be cooler than the rest of Mexico making it perfect for summer weddings. The colonial buildings and streets are amazingly photogenic and show a different side of Mexico.

Mérida

- Also located in the Yucatán directly west of Cancun and not far from the water. The colonial architecture used many relics from Mayan ruins near by. This area is well known for Hacienda wedding venues that were once formally working sugar mills.

Cabo San Lucas

- Located on the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula it is the most popular spot on the west coast for tourism. With beautiful rock formations it has some of the most scenic beaches that also happen to be great for water sports.
